SAFETY MEASURES

We have high standards and protocols to maintain a safe environment for all our guests, staff and visitors, with additional cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitisation.

We also ask for your co-operation so that your stay and the stay of other guests will help maintain a safe environment.  Please remember to wear your mask where and when requested, sanitise frequently, dispose of all rubbish in the bins, and take all your personal items with you.

Whilst we will do everything we can to ensure your stay with us is safe, we would kindly ask you to follow NZ Ministry of Health Guidelines and stay at home if:

• you are showing symptoms of COVID-19

• you are a close contact of someone with COVID-19 

• you have visited a location of interest

• you have visited a Government COVID-19 MIQ within the last 14 days

Should you fall sick or show symptoms during your stay please contact Healthline on 0800 358 5453 and notify the manager/s immediately.  If you are then asked to go for a covid test and self-isolate you will not be able to remain at the campground.

All guests are personally responsible for checking these details and taking the right steps in helping stop the spread.  If any of these rules are breached you may be required to leave the Campground without refund.

The following key measures are in place and will be revised according to any NZ Ministry of Health Guidelines:

CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

CONTACTLESS PAYMENT

We strongly encourage the use of the paywave machine or online payment methods.  

SHOWER AND LAUNDRY COINS

Please bring your own $1 coins for showers and $2 coins for laundry.  However, if you forget or run out we can still do eftpos cash outs.  The coins will be sterilised and staff will sanitise or wear gloves when handling.

QR CODE SCANNING / MANUAL REGISTRATION

All guests and visitors must scan and register with us on arrival.  We will have a number of QR codes setup around the camp.  Manual registration will only be available inside our store.  Please use the sanitisers provided.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Please follow our requests for social distancing throughout the camp and consider who you allow within your site / camping bubbles.  Gatherings are no more than 50 pax during Orange and 25 pax in Red.

MASK WEARING

Mask wearing is required for inside the communal facilities and inside the general store.

HAND HYGIENE

We have a number of sanitising stations set up around the camp.  Please ensure your sanitise before entering any communal area along with our general store.  Proper and frequent handwashing and the use of sanitisers will help combat the spread of any viruses.

CABINS

We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with special attention paid to high-touch items. 

COMMUNAL AREAS

We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting our communal areas, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, coins, eftpos machines, door handles, public bathrooms, kitchens, laundry, and room keys.

STAFF

In the spaces where team members work “behind the scenes”, we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas.

COVID19 VACCINATION PASSPORT

A COVID19 vaccination passport is not a Government requirement to camp here.  We will be operating at all levels (green, amber and red) under the new COVID19 response legislation and COVID19 health and safety guidelines specific for holiday parks. 

COVID19 LOCKDOWN / GOVERNMENT TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS 

With the uncertainty around COVID19 we understand the implications that this might have on your confidence in booking with us.  Should a government lockdown restriction arise around domestic travel and the operations of our business, we will be offering all bookings that fall within that restriction period a held credit of the full booking fees paid.  The credit will be valid for rebooking within 24 months from the date of notification.
